The TCU Staff Assembly was established in 1999 to provide an opportunity to discuss issues and address concerns of all staff. The Assembly consists of both exempt and nonexempt staff, representing all areas of the University. Meetings, held monthly from September to May, may include invited guests and guest speakers. Elections are conducted in the spring and delegates are selected by their peers for two-year, renewable terms. Directed by an Executive Committee of officers, the Staff Assembly also has a number of committees to carry out its work: elections, professional development, policy and advocacy, community service, the committee on committees, media and communications and college resources.
